Search and Destroy in Black Ops 7 hits different. One mistake and you're done for the round, sat there watching someone else try to fix it. And SnD is timing—catching a guy sprinting to bomb, beating a rotate by one second, hitting a shoulder peek without overcommitting.
In competitive rulesets, your choices get squeezed, so your fundamentals matter more. Perk Greed is everywhere because two extra perks can turn a coin-flip round into a clean hold. Ninja isn't optional—without it, you're basically pinging your position to anyone with a headset. After that, Fast Hands or Dexterity just smooths out your plays: quicker weapon swaps, cleaner grenade timing, less clunky movement when you're trying to trade. For a secondary, the Jager 45 is the one you're living with since other pistols get banned, so practice those two-tap ranges and the panic reloads.
Stuns and frags stay popular because they're simple and they work. A good stun buys space for a plant, or forces a defender off an angle long enough for a trade. Frags punish predictable corners and stop last-second defuses. And please don't be the team with no Trophy System—sites get spammed the moment the bomb goes down, so running a Trophy with a high-efficiency battery saves rounds you "should" lose.
